No car goes on sale
before passing our inspections
Before it appears on the site, every car goes through a set of concrete checks: mileage, bodywork, service history and paperwork status. We tell you directly what we find, including things that will need attention in the coming years.
We compare the displayed mileage with what the service records show, with previous technical inspections and with the physical wear of the car: steering wheel, pedals, seat, control elements. When the figures don't match up, we dig further, and if we can't find a reasonable explanation, the car doesn't make it into stock.
We check the paint thickness, the alignment of body panels and the seam areas, to see what repairs the car has had. A repair done properly isn't a problem; one hidden under an "untouched car" presentation is, which is why we put it in the listing.
The car also goes through our workshop, where we check the engine, transmission, brakes and suspension, and we take care of consumables and upcoming services before handover. In parallel, we check the paperwork and legal status, so you don't buy a paperwork problem along with the car.
What do we check, point by point?
- Mileage compared against the records and the actual wear
- Bodywork and structure, for previous repairs
- Engine, transmission, brakes and suspension at the workshop
- Service history and outstanding consumables
- Paperwork and legal status, before the car is listed on the site
We compare the dashboard figures with the service records and the physical wear of the car.
We look for signs of previous repairs and list them if they exist.
Engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and any consumables that still need work.
Vehicle ID, registration certificate and ownership status, before the listing goes live.
We don't claim that one set of checks removes every risk of buying a used car. We do claim to tell you everything we found, and if you want a second opinion, you're welcome to bring a mechanic you trust or take the car to a workshop of your choice.
